Well, we are at it yet again….With the exclusive first play anywhere of their excellent follow-up second single, “Hide In Your World”, and the accompanying lyric video. The single and video are officially released on Wednesday 21st August.
This one has a tad more jazz feel to it, great ear-worm hook and Celine’s sultry vocal puts us in mind of Corinne Drewery (Swing Out Sister) and Basia Trzetrzelewska (Matt Bianco) and their uber-commercial and classy soulful jazz territory. Not too far away from Sade’s vibe either.
There’s a gap in the market for a band making that kind of sound today. We think Celine and her boys could well be the ones to fill it!
This is very much a multi-cultural outfit, who all met while studying at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, Surrey. 20-year-old Italian Celine Buccomino has lived in the UK for just over two years now, and fronts this breezy modern five-piece soul-jazz outfit.
She is joined by Albanian Enea Lleshi on keyboards, Jarreau “Jay” Wetzels from The Netherlands on guitar, Romanian Horatiu Lehene on bass and Brit’ drummer Elliot Yarnall.
