A massive Music Republic Magazine tip for 2017 is 26-year-old French-Israeli singer TAL who releases her debut international single, the mega infectious “Slow Down The Flow”, just released on Warner Music. This has all the hallmarks of a monster hit. Think Ri Ri meets Shakira.
The track mixes urban pop with ragga stylings and is co-produced by TAL and French duo LNT, mastered by Daddy’s Groove (David Guetta) and it really is global smash hit in the making.
The stunning video featuring TAL and a fleet of dancers is mesmerising. Showcasing her dance skills and fashion sensibilities, it places TAL at the forefront of modern pop music, and brings a new future superstar into the urban music scene.
“Slow Down The Flow” champions the need for us to slow down the hectic pace of contemporary living and discover the things that make life fun. Amen to that. Boasting a huge chorus and insistent rhythms the exotic single also dips into TAL’s Middle Eastern heritage.
She is already a huge star in France, with three critically acclaimed and hugely successful studio albums. TAL has collaborated with Sia, Sean Paul, Flo Rida and Fetty Wap among others.
With an already combined 4.5 million fans on social media, and over 400 million YouTube views (which is a record for a French artist), TAL comes armed with the profile and the songs to make 2017 her year, worldwide. The UK is gonna love her methinks. UK Summer festival bookers, please get on the ‘phone now!
