Wow! Win An Exclusive Chance To Join Soul Star Alexander O’Neal In The Recording Studio – And Get To Jam With Him…
To help celebrate Music Republic magazine’s 1st Birthday: we have joined forces with soul legend Alexander O’Neal to bring you a fantastic prize that money really cannot buy, for our special competition.
A rare opportunity to win the chance to spend a few hours in the recording studio when Alexander is working on his brand new original material album. Not only that; if the winner of this amazing prize plays piano or guitar, they will get the chance to jam with the soul man himself. This prize is for one winner and their guest.
Plus; Alexander has invited the winner + 1 to see him in concert on his UK tour in April 2018, and will give the winner a pair of tickets for a date of their choice on the tour – and a signed copy of his new album “Hearsay 30”. That is his latest album, just released, which has seen him re-record all the tracks from his classic Platinum-selling album of 1987. It includes his smash hits “Criticise” and “Fake”.
Alexander has earned the label, “Legend”. Praised by critics for having a voice with the same grain and range as Otis Redding, Alexander O’Neal came to prominence as an R&B singer in both the US and UK territories with a stream of hits, that included “If You Were Here Tonight”, “Saturday Love”, “Never Knew Love Like This”, “Criticise” and “Fake”.
He was signed to the Warner label in his early days by Prince, and went on to have a massively successful solo career that has spanned more than three decades. Alexander will be performing on ITV’s Christmas Carols show on Xmas Eve 2017, with a superb cover of Oasis’s “Live Forever”.
He will be back in the studio in the New Year, with a brand new single scheduled for release on Valentine’s Day. Alexander is also featured on the Missing People’s Choir, Christmas album.
Originally hailing from Minneapolis, Alexander has now re-located to the UK , where he lives and records in Manchester. That is where our lucky winner and their guest will join Alexander in February, listen to him recording some tunes, join him for a jam session at his piano and get up close with the soul legend himself! Music Republic Magazine will be there to capture the event in words and pictures for a feature to run soon after that unforgettable day.
